6. Daniel Robert WAKELY [ Parents ]. Baptized 13/1/1861 in Symondsbury, Daniel Robert died 31/1/1932 in Bridport, age 71. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “WAKELY Daniel Robert of 81 South Street Bridport Dorsetshire died 31 January 1932 Administration (limited) Blandford 16 August to Guy Langley Atherton chartered accountant attorney of Robert Matthew Wakely. Effects £562 5s 6d” (Worth around £36,474 today.) On 5/2/1894, when Daniel Robert was age 33, he married Eliza Annie KING , daughter of Tristrum [sic] KING (deceased), a gardener, in Symondsbury. Eliza Annie was born about 1859 in Maulden, Bedford and died 1903 In Bridport, age 43. They had the following child: (1) Robert Matthews , baptized 28/10/1894 in Symondsbury and died 1969 in Long Gulley, Longwood, Victoria, Australia, age 74. On 10/12/1923, when Robert was age 29, he married Florence Eva Annie HOLT in Bothenhampton, Dorset. It’s not known when Florence was born or died. On 17/12/1925, when Robert was age 31, he emigated to Australia with his wife, leaving the Port of London on board the S.S. Bendigo. His occupation was recorded in the manifest as a butcher. 7. Robert WAKELY [ Parents ]. Born 26/11/1867 in Loders, Dorset and baptized there 30/11/1867. Robert died 28/12/1943 in Bournemouth, age 76. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “WAKELY Robert of 363 Wimborne Road Winton Bournemouth died 28 December 1943 Probate Llandudno 19 May to Robert Angel Wakely minister of religion. Effects £2752 14s. 5d.” (Worth around £123,610 today.) In 1896, when Robert  was age 28, he married Bessie Jane COLLINS , in Christchurch, Dorset. Bessie was born 1868 in Poole and died 25/12/1941 in Bournemouth, age 73. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “WAKELY Bessie Jane of 363 Wimborne Road Winton Bournemouth (wife of Robert Wakely) died 25 December 1941 Probate Llandudno 13 March to Robert Angel Wakely minister of religion and Edward Brown company director. Effects £550 1s. 11d.” (Worth around £29,260 today.) They had the following children, all born Bournemouth: (1) Robert Angel , born 1897 and died 30/8/1950 in Plymouth, age 53. Occupation: Minister of Religion. Served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps in France during World War 1. An entry in the National Probate Calendar reads: “WAKELY reverend Robert Angel of 22 Redcliffe Road Nottingham minister of religion died 30 August 1950 at The City Hospital Plymouth Probate Nottingham 17 October to Evelyn Margaret Wakely widow. Effects £2475 17s. 4d.” (Worth around £83,200 today.) In 1923, when Robert was age about 26, he married Evelyn Margaret WORTH in Plympton, Devon. Evelyn was born 19/3/1900 in Plymouth and died 1977, also in Plymouth, age 77. (2) Hilda Annie , born and died 1905. (3) Molly Kathleen , born 1908.
