First Generation

 

1. John HARRIS.  Born about 1778 in Halling, John died in 1834 and was buried 21/9/1834, also in Halling, age about 56.
 

On 4/6/1804, when John was age about 26, he married Hannah CARTER in St Mary, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.  Hannah was born 1780.  It is not known when she died.
 

They had the following children:

 

(1) Mary Ann, born 4/8/1805 and baptized 22/9/1805 in Aylesbury.  On 3/11/1823, when Mary Ann was age 18, she married James PARRIS, son of Henry PARRIS and Elizabeth HALLONS, in Halling.  (2) Sarah, born about 1807 in Aylesbury.  About 1828, when Sarah was age about 21, she married Charles LUCHFORD, son of Richard LUCHFORD and Sarah BEEBY. Charles was baptized 1/7/1804 at St John the Baptist Church, Halling.  We currently cannot link this Luchford family to the other Luchford family on this site.  If you can help do so contact us.  (3) William, born 1809 and died 1835.  (4) John [2].
(5) Hannah, born about 1819.  (6) James, born about 1822 in Halling.  (7) Henry [3].

 

 

Second Generation

 

2. John HARRIS [Parents].  Born about 1812 in Halling, John died in 1835 age about 23 and was buried 24/7/1835, also in Halling.
 

On 7/11/1830, when John was age about 18, he married Eliza HEATH in Halling.  Born in 1810, it is not known when she died.
 

They had the following children, all born Halling:

 

(1) Ann, born and died 1831.  (2) Eliza, baptized 7/10/1832.  Eliza married her cousin John Alfred PARRIS, son of James PARRIS and her aunt Mary Ann HARRIS.  (3) William [4].
 

3.  Henry HARRIS [Parents].  Baptized 24/7/1825 at St John the Baptist Church, Halling. Henry’s died quarter ending March 1916, age recorded as 89.  Occupation: Labourer.
 

In the quarter ending September 1848, when Henry was age about 23, he married Hannah GUEST in the Medway district, Kent.  Hannah was born about 1829 in Halling and died quarter ending June 1858, age about 29.
 

They had the following children, all born Snodland:

 

(1) Susanna, born quarter ending June 1849.  (2) Emma, born quarter ending June 1851.  (3) Arthur Henry, baptized 5/9/1852 at All Saints Parish Church, Snodland.
 

On  4/4/1859, when Henry was age 33, he married Mary STONE at All Saints Parish Church, Snodland. Mary was born about 1838 in Lichfield, Staffordshire.  Mary died quarter ending March 1912, age recorded as 71.
 

They had the following children, all born Snodland:

 

(1) Henry [5].  (2) James William Henry, born quarter ending December 1860.  (3) Edwin Henry, born quarter
ending March 1862.  (4) William Henry, born quarter ending January 1864.  (5) Amos Henry [6].  (6) John Henry,
born quarter ending June 1868.  (7) Albert Henry [7].  (8) Mary Ann, born quarter ending June 1872. In the quarter
ending December 1897, when Mary Ann was age about 25, she married George WELLS in Malling.
(9) Frederick Henry [8].  10) Walter Henry, born quarter ending June 1876.  (11) Henrietta, born quarter ending
June 1879. In the quarter ending September 1900, when Henrietta was age about 21, she married William Matthew
GOAD, son of Richard and Hannah GOAD, in Malling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mary Ann Harris and George Wells had the following children:
 

(1) John, born 1893.
(2) George, born 1896.
(3) Hephzibah, born 1898.
(4) Violet May, born 1900.
