16. William PARRIS [Parents]. Baptized 28/11/1828 in Stoke, Kent & died in Cliffe at Hoo, age 72. Occupation: Ag. Labourer. In 1848 William married Ann BAKER in Hoo. Born 1828 in Halstow it’s not known when Ann died.

They had the following children:

(1) William. (2) James, baptized 16/2/1851 at St Helen’s, Cliffe at Hoo. (3) George, baptized 27/6/1852 at St James’ Church, Cooling. (4) Ann, born about 1855 in Cliffe. (5) Henry, born 1859. (6) Sally, born 1861. (7) Emily, baptized 2/8/ 1863 in Higham. Emily had a child, Edward George PARRIS. His father is not named on the baptism record. (8) Eliza, born 1865. (9) John. (10) Elizabeth, born 1872.

17. William PARRIS [Parents]. Born 1863 in Stone by Dartford, it’s not known when William died. Occupation: Metropolitan Police Constable (1891); Furniture Dealer (1901). On 14/11/1889, William married Christina Caroline MINETT in St Martin-in-the-Fields, London. Christian Caroline was born 1852 in Leatherhead, Surrey, and died 1932 in Kingston, age 79.

They had the following children:

(1) Norman Jack, born 8/8/1890 in Westminster. On 25/12/1915 Norman married his cousin Edith Ethel PARRIS in the Parish Church, Eltham. (2) Reginald William, born 1891 in Westminster. (3) Doris Marion, born 1893 in Croydon. (4) Archibald Mark, born 1894 in Liverton, Surrey & died 15/7/1916, age about 22, during the Battle of the Somme. He’s commemorated at the Thiepval Memorial, France.
