There were several separate Chapple families living in Devon in the 16th to 19th centuries. Our focus is on an east Devon family originally from the Dalwood area - the descendants of John and Elizabeth Chapple.
Surname variations abound in the records. For consistency, the most common useage - Chapple - has been used throughout. If you have a connection to any individual or family featured on this site, or if you want to leave us your feedback contact us.
