 39. William PARRIS [Parents]. Born 1847 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. It is not known when William died.
In the quarter ending December 1871, when William was age about 22, he married Emma WEST in North Aylesford district, Kent. Emma was born 1851 in Borstal, Kent.
They had the following children:
i. Frederick, born quarter ending March 1872 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. Frederick died quarter ending March 1893 in Woolwich, Kent, age 20.
ii. George, born 1874 in Borstal, Kent and baptized 22/11/1874 at St Margaret’s Rochester, Kent.
iii. Percival, born quarter ending June 1877 in Borstal, Kent and baptized 27/5/1874 at St Margaret’s Rochester, Kent. Percival died quarter ending December 1883, age 6.

v. Sarah Ann, born quarter ending December 1881 in Borstal, Kent. On 14/8/1907, when Sarah was age 25, she married William Edward NELSON at the Parish Church, Borstal, Kent.
vi. Arthur, born quarter ending December 1886 in Borstal, Kent.
40. John PARRIS [Parents]. Born 1869 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. It is not known when John died. Occupation Clay digger.
In 1892, when John was age about about 23, he married Harriett Emily GREEN in Strood, Kent. Born 1873 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent, it is not known when Harriett died.
They had the following children:
i. Grace, born 1893 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent.
ii. Leonard J, born 1895 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent.
iii. George John, born 17/8/1896 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. George John died 1986 in Caister, Norfolk, age about 89. On 22/12 1923, when George John was age 27, he married Florence M JOHNSON in Greenhithe, Kent. Florence was born 17/7/1898 in Strood, Kent and died in September 1992 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, age 94. They had 3 children who are still living.
iv. Sidney, born 24/9/1899 in Stoke, Kent.
v. Arthur Robert, born September 1900 in Stoke, Kent.
vi. Harold Victor, born 18/9/1903 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. Harold died 27/2/1977 in Swanscombe, Kent, age 73.
vii. Edith May, born 10/5/1906 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. Edith May died December 1986 in Gravesend, Kent, age 80.
viii. Albert, born 30/5/1909 in Cliffe at Hoo, Kent. Albert died 24/5/1996 in Canterbury, Kent, age 86.
41. Reginald Charles PARRIS [Parents]. Born 5/5/1908 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, Reginald Charles died in March 1989 also in Portsmouth, age 80.
In the quarter ending December 1928, when Reginald Charles was age 20, he married Sarah SIBBALD (1908-1955) in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
They had the following children:
i. Hilda, born 20/12/1928 and died quarter ending June 1929 in Portsmouth.

 42. William PARRIS [Parents]. Born 19/2/1876 in Erith, Kent and baptized 5/7/1882 at All Saints, Belvedere, Kent.. Occupation Lamplighter (gas). It is not known when William died.
On 20/2/1897, when William was age 21, he married Jessie PITCHER at the Parish Church, Erith, Kent. Jessie’s father given as Henry Pitcher (deceased) a Coal Porter. Witnesses were Thomas George Lawrence and Nellie Pitcher.
They had the following children:
i. William Alfred, born quarter ending March 1898 in Belvedere, Kent.
ii. Winifred Ina, born quarter ending September 1899 in Belvedere, Kent.
43. Edward Thomas PARRIS [Parents]. Born 1885 in Halling, Kent. Edward Thomas died in Halling on 28/1/1966, age 81. Buried in Halling cemetery.
In the quarter ending September 1909, when Edward Thomas was age about 24, he married Lilian Maud WHEELER in Strood, Kent.
They had the following child:
i. Alfred William, born 21/1/1919 in Halling, Kent and baptized as an adult 18/12/1940 at St John the Baptist Halling, Kent.

On 26/4/1911 Edward Thomas Parris was a witness at the wedding of Frederick Charles Dodge, aged 20, cement labourer, of 4 Jupps Cottages Halling (father George Dodge, cement labourer) and Annie Parris aged 20 of 3 Jupps Cottages (father Henry Parris).
On 26/12/1912 Edward Thomas Parris was a witness at the wedding of Henry Thomas Crittenden aged 32, a gardener of Swanley Junction (father George Thomas Crittenden, labourer) and Adelaide Rosetta Wheeler, aged 34 of 2 Collins Cottages, Kent Road, Halling (father Thomas Wheeler, labourer). The other witness was Lilian Maud Parris, nee Wheeler.
On 8/1/1916 Edward Thomas Parris was a witness at the wedding of Albert William Parris aged 24 of The Army Vetinary Corps, address 3 Evelene Place (father Thomas Parris, deceased, Soldier) and Annie Clara Excell aged 24 of 5 Vicarage Road Halling (father John Excell cement worker). The other witness was Ellen Parris.

44. Richard John PARRIS [Parents]. Born about 1879 in Erith, Kent. It is not known when Richard John died.
On 3/8/1901, when Richard was age 22, he married Alice MAYATT, daughter of William MAYATT & Amelia MONK, at the Parish Church, Halling, Kent. Alice was born about 1878 and it is not known when she died.
They had the following child:
i. Alice May, baptized 8/6/1902 in Halling, Kent.
45. William Leonard PARRIS [Parents]. Born about 1898 in Birling, Kent. It is not known when William Leonard died.
On 7/6/1919, when William Leonard was age about 21, he married Stella Ethel ASHDOWN at the Parish Church, Halling, Kent. Stella Ethel was born about 1898. It is not known when she died.
They had the following child:
i. Leonard Alfred, born about 1920 and baptized 23/1/1921 at St John the Baptist, Halling, Kent.

Received Religious Instruction. Date of Birth 12 Dec 1904. Name of parent: Henry. Last school attended Halling Infants. Date of last Attendance 6 Jan 1919. Cause of leaving: Age Limit.”

46. Leslie PARRIS [Parents]. Born 12/12/1904 in 3 Jupps Cottages, Upper Halling, Kent. Leslie died in Linton Hospital, Maidstone on 27/5/1984, age 79. Occupation: Milkman (1937); Centre Lathe Turner.
On 27/11/1937 when Leslie was 32, he married Eileen Alice ROOTS, in Maidstone Registry Office. Born on 7/3/1911 in Maidstone, Kent, Eileen Alice died in Loose Nursing Home, Maidstone on 3/8/1996, age 85.
They had the following children:
i. Michael Gilbert, born 1943 in Maidstone, Kent. Michael Gilbert died in 1945, age 2.

47. James Capon PARRIS [Parents]. Born 26/12/1889 in Birling, Kent. James died February 1980 in Maidstone district, Kent, age 90. He was buried 19/2/1980.
 On 26/7/1916, when James Capon was age 25, he married Alice Lilian CACKETT in Malling, Kent. Born 15/3/1895 in Hollingbourne, Kent, Alice died August 1971 in Maidstone district, Kent, age 76. She was buried 23/8/1971.
They had the following children:
i. Gwendoline, born 11/12/1912.
ii. Evelyn, born 3/1/1915.
iii. Ernest, born 8/10/1916.
iv. Ralph, born 24/3/1922.
v. James, born 29/4/1924.
vi. Cecil, born 16/5/1926. Cecil died 1/2/1976, age 49. On 29/3/1952, when Cecil was age 25, he married Sheila NOAKES. Born 12/5/1935, Sheila died 2/2/2007, age 71.

48. John Henry PARRIS  [Parents]. Born 13/12/1889 in Sandwich, Illinois. John Henry died 6/6/1977, age 88. He was buried 9/6/1977 in Oak Ridge cemetery, Sandwich, Illinois. Rev Alfred Perkins officiated.
Around 1909, when John Henry was age about 20, he married Ethel OLMSTEAD. Ethel was born 9/5/1890 in Iowa and died 12/10/1979 age 89.
They had the following children:
i. Alfred Granville, born 1910, died before 1977.
ii. John Harvey, born 1914.
iii. Merle Cedric, born 21/8/1919, died 1951.
iv. Shirley, born about 1924.
49. Herbert R PARRIS [Parents]. Born 2/2/1888 in Nebraska, Herbert died in June 1970 in Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska, age 82. Occ: Manager, grain elevator.
Around 1915, when Herbert was age about 27, he married Della (maiden name unknown). Della was born 6/1/1895 in Nebraska and died November 1981 in Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska, age 86.

50. Harry Archie PARRIS [Parents]. Born 2/9/1889 in Nebraska, Harry died 27/9/1956 in Falls City, Richardson County, Nebraska, age 67. Occ: Agent, express company.
Around 1916, when Harry was age about 26, he married Emma LEWIS. Emma was born 7/4/1892 in Nebraska and died 17/7/1954 in Falls City, Richardson County, Nebraska, age 62.
They had the following children, all born Nebraska:
i. Harriett, born 1917
ii. Leland, born February 1919
iii. Betty, born 23/12/1923. Betty married Harlan Neal HOUTZ (1922-1982), date unknown.
51. Glenn E PARRIS [Parents]. Born 5/3/1895 in Nebraska, Glenn died 29/6/1972 in Lincoln, Nebraska age 77. Occ: Farmer.
Around 1915, when Glenn was age about 20, he married Emma E FAGAN. Emma was born about 1897 in Nebraska. It is not known when she died.
They had the following children:
i. Phyllis, born August 1916 in Nebraska.
ii. Donald Lee, born 27/1/1918 in Nebraska and died there 29/11/1984, age 66. On 5/4/1942, when Donald Lee was age 24, he married Verla L WILSON. Verla was born 22/1/1922 and died 7/6/1992 in Lincoln, Nebraska age 70.
52. Lawrence PARRIS [Parents]. Born February 1898 in Nebraska. It is not known when Lawrence died but is was sometime after 1/4/1930 - he appeared on the Federal census taken on that day. Occ: Laborer.
Around 1916, when Lawrence was age about 18, he married Irene (maiden name unknown. Irene was born about 1900 in Nebraska.
They had the following children:
i. Bernard, born about 1916.
ii. Eugene, born about 1918
iii. Raymond, born about 1921.
iv. Willard, born about 1923.
v. Jerald, born about 1926.
53. Lillie Blanch PARRIS [Parents]. Born 17/3/1888 in Sandwich, Illinois. Lillie Blanch died 13/2/1904 in St Joseph, Missouri, age 16.
On 13/11/1901 when Lillie Blanch was 13, she married Jack R BRADLEY in St Joseph, Missouri. Judge John T Warburton officiated.

i. Donald DeForest, born 23/11/1903.
54. Bonnie Beryl PARRIS [Parents]. Born 4/7/1896 in Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska. Bonnie Beryl died 8/2/1972 in Downey, Los Angeles County, California, age 76. Cause of death cardiac arrest. Bonnie Beryl was buried in Inglewood cemetery, Los Angeles County, California.
On 17/7/1915 when she was 19, Bonnie Beryl first married Roswell Eugene HUDSON in St. Paul, Howard County, Nebraska, USA. Bonnie Beryl and Roswell Eugene were divorced. Bonnie Beryl second married Henry MAES.
Roswell Eugene was born 28/1/1896 in Geneva, York County, Nebraska, the son of Charles HUDSON and Maria ROACH. Roswell Eugene died 22/2/1972 in Needles, San Bernadino County, California, age 76. Cause of death kidney failure. He was buried in Needles Public Cemetery, San Bernadino County, California.

Daughter of Percy HOPE and Lela BROADDUS, Mary Alice was born 13/7/1917 in Long Beach, California. She died 17/2/2003 in Garden Grove California. Cause of death heart failure. Mary Alice was buried 25/2/2003 in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Riverside County, California.

Rozwelle Ernest and Mary Alice were divorced. On 9/11/1956 when Rozwelle Ernest was 40 he married Joyce McGANN in Santa Barbara, California.
55. William PARRIS [Parents]. Born 9/4/1879 in Borstal, Kent and baptized 8/6/1879 at St Margaret’s Rochester, Kent. William died in 1971, age about 92.
On 3/6/1908, when William was age age 29, he married Rosa HOTHER, daughter of James and Sarah HOTHER, at the Parish Church, Borstal, Kent. The marriage certificate records first names as Rose Helen, but Rosa Ellen was recorded at birth (quarter ending June 1879 in Kingsley, Hampshire) and she appears in the 1881 census as “Rosa E”. Rosa died 1921 at Cliffe at Hoo, Kent, age about 42.
