 7. John PARRIS [Parents]. Born about 1804 in Snodland, Kent, John died quarter ending June 1877 in Bromley, Kent. Occ Agricultural Labourer.
On 12/10/1834, when John was age about 30, he married Eliza FISHER in Ash-by-Wrotham, Kent. Born about 1816 in Canterbury, Kent it is not known when Eliza died.
They had the following children:
i. Phoebe, baptized 9/8/1836 at Borough Green Baptist Church, Wrotham, Kent.
ii. William [10]
iii. Katherine, born about 1838 in Stansted, Kent.
iv. John [11] born about 1840 in Stansted, Kent.
8. James PARRIS [Parents]. Born 1797 in Stanstead, Kent. Occupation: Agricultural labourer.
On 3/11/1823 when James was age about 26, he married Mary Ann HARRIS, daughter of John HARRIS and Hannah CARTER, in Halling, Kent. Mary Ann was born 4/8/1805 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and was baptized at St Mary Aylesbury on 22/9/1805. Mary Ann died sometime between 1891 and 1901 but the exact date is not known.
They had the following children:
i. Mary Elizabeth, born 1824 in Halling, Kent. Mary Elizabeth was baptized on 15/8/1824 and died about 1825 age 17 months. Buried 2/1/1826 in Halling.
ii. Mark, born in 1825. Mark was baptized in Halling, Kent on 25/12/1825 and died in Halling, Kent in 1828, age 2.

Entry in the England & Wales Criminal Registers for Kent. Eliza Parris age 18; Offence: larceny from the person. Date of trial 2/1/1844 at the County sessions at Canterbury. Found Not Guilty.

Buried 22/10/1828 in Halling.
iii. Eliza, born in 1827 in Snodland, Kent. Eliza was baptized in Halling, Kent on 26/8/1827 and died in Snodland, Kent on 27/1/1918, age 90. On 22/7/1848 when Eliza was 21, she married Edward Humphrey BEADLE, at St John The Baptist Church, Halling.

vii. Harriet, born 1834 in Halling, Kent and baptized 16/5/1834 in Halling. On 4/6/1853, when Harriet was age 19, she married Charles BEADLE at the Parish Church, Halling.
viii. Henry, born about 1837 in Halling, Kent.
ix. Jane, born about 1839. About 1860, when Jane was age about 20, she married Alfred MONK. Alfred was born about 1835 in Halling, Kent.
x. Hannah, born 1841. Hannah died in 1903, age 62. On 29/6/1861 when Hannah was 20, she married William ROOTS, son of John & Hannah ROOTS, in Halling, Kent
xi. Dorothy, born quarter ending December 1844 in Halling, Kent. On 19/11/1864, when Dorothy was age about 20, she married Ambrose HOMEWOOD, son of William & Eleanor HOMEWOOD, in Halling, Kent.

xiii. Esther, born 1847. In the quarter ending June 1869, when Esther was age about 22, she married John NEVILLE, son of George NEVILLE and Harriet LONGLEY, in Malling, Kent. Before this marriage, John was Esther’s third cousin once removed.
