1. John CHAPPLE. Born about 1530 in Dalwood, Dorset. John died in Dalwood, Devon in 1610, age about 80.
John married Elizabeth, maiden name unknown. Born about 1535. Elizabeth died in 1587, age 52.
They had the following children:

ii. Anthony, born about 1550 in Dalwood, Dorset. Anthony died in 1618, age 68.

iv. Thomas [4]
2. John CHAPPLE [Parents]. Born 1551 in Dalwood, Dorset. John died 1616, age 65. Occupation: Carpenter.
On 15/11/1584 when John was 33, he married Thamsyn BAKER, daughter of John BAKER, in Dalwood, Devon. Thamsyn was born about 1555 and baptized in Colyton, Devon on 15/5/1558.
They had the following children:
i. Thomas, born in 1585 in Dalwood, Dorset. Thomas died in Colyton, Devon in 1628, age about 43. On 1/5/1610 when Thomas was 25, he married Katheryn VIKARIE, a widow, in Colyton, Devon. Katheryn was born 1565 in Colyton, Devon. Born Katheryn ABBOTT, daughter of John and Anne Abbott, Katheryn first married Nicholas VICKARIE 11/8/1589 in Colyton, Devon.
ii. Philip, (Died as Infant), born 1587.

3. William CHAPPLE [Parents]. Born about 1553 in Dalwood, Dorset.
William’s wife is unknown.
They had the following children:
i. Joan, baptized 12/1/1577 in Axminster, Devon. Joan died 1577.
ii. William, born about 1580 in Axminster, Devon.
iii. George, born about 1582 in Axminster, Devon. George died 1669 in Axminster, Devon.

4. Thomas CHAPPLE [Parents]. Born about 1555 in Dalwood, Dorset. Thomas died 1634, age 79.
About 1576 when Thomas was 21, he married Elizabeth, maiden name unknown. Born 1555, Elizabeth died in 1595, age 40.
They had the following children:
i. Anthony, born 1577 in Dalwood, Devon. Anthony died in Dalwood, Dorset in 1614, age 37.
ii. Katheryn, born 1580 in Dalwood, Devon. Katheryn died in 1651, she was 71.
iii. Richard [9]
iv. Alice, born 1585 in Dalwood, Dorset. Alice married William STOLSEY (b 1580).
v. Walter, born 1588 in Dalwood, Dorset. Walter married Mary DARE (b 1594) on 11/6/1615.
vi. James, born 1590 in Dalwood, Dorset.
vii. Gertrude, born 1592 in Dalwood, Dorset. Gertrude married John ANNING (b 1590) in 1618.
viii. Judith. born 1592 in Dalwood, Dorset. Judith died an infant in 1592.
ix. Jane, born about 1594 in Dalwood, Dorset. Jane married Henry COLLINS (or COLLIER) (b 1590).
