9. Charles BEADLE [Parents]. Born about 1854 in Halling, Kent, it is not known when Charles died but it was after 31/3/1901; he appears in that year’s census. Occ Chalk Labourer.
In the quarter ending December 1877, when Charles was age about 23, he married Sarah CHEESEMAN, daughter of James CHEESEMAN, in Malling, Kent. Sarah was born about 1857 in Burham, Kent. It is not known when she died.
They had the following children, all born in Burham, Kent:
i. Arthur, born about 1878.
ii. Charles, born about 1889.
iii. Bertha, born about 1882.
10. William BEADLE [Parents]. Born about 1857 in Upper Halling, Kent, it is not known when William died but it was after 31/3/1901; he appears in that year’s census. Occ Chalk/Cement Labourer.
In the quarter ending June 1884, when William was age about 27, he married Mary Ann WINGATE in Malling, Kent. Mary Ann was born about 1862 in Snodland, Kent. It is not known when she died.
They had the following children, all born and, where given, baptized and died, in Snodland, Kent:
i. Minnie Violet, born quarter ending June 1885.
ii. Alice Daisy, born quarter ending March 1887.
iii. Dora Mary, born about 1890.
iv. Edith, born quarter ending March 1893.
v. Rayden Wingate, baptized 27/12/1895 at All Saints Church and died quarter ending March 1896.
vi. Amos Harry, baptized 15/4/1897 at All Saints Church and died quarter ending June 1897.
vii. William, born and died quarter ending December 1898.
viii. Mona Sarah, born quarter ending March 1900.
ix. Charles Edward, born quarter ending June 1903.
11. Frederick BEADLE [Parents]. Born about 1860 in Upper Halling, Kent, it is not known when Frederick died but it was after 31/3/1901; he appears in that year’s census. Occ: variously Chalk/Lime/Cement Labourer.
In the quarter ending December 1885, when William was age about 25, he married Fanny WOODING in Malling, Kent. Fanny was born about 1862 in Snodland, Kent. It is not known when she died.
They had the following children:
i. Frederick, born about 1886 in Halling, Kent.
ii. Grace Harriett, born quarter ending September 1891 in Snodland, Kent.
iii. Ada, born quarter ending June 1894 in Snodland, Kent.
iv. Florence Maud, born quarter ending June 1896 in Snodland, Kent.
v. Norah, born quarter ending December 1899 in Snodland, Kent.
vi. Alfred William, born quarter ending September 1907 in Strood, Kent
12. Thomas BEADLE [Parents]. Born about 1868 in Burham, Kent, it is not known when Thomas died. Occ: Labourer.
In the quarter ending December 1889, when Thomas was age about 21, he married Ellen Harriet WOOD in Maliing, Kent. Ellen was born about 1871 and died quarter ending December 1889 in Malling, age about 18.
They had the following child:
i. Thomas, born Quarter ending March 1891 in Snodland, Kent.
At the same GRO death reference as Ellen is a death for Henry John BEADLE age 0. Possibly she gave birth to twins, with only Thomas surviving.
In the quarter ending September 1894, when Thomas was age about 26, Thomas maried Ada Elizabeth CREW in Luton, Bedfordshire.
They had the following children, all born Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire:
i. Maud, born quarter ending March 1896.
ii. Ada May, born quarter ending September 1897
iii. Minnie, born quarter ending December 1898.
iv. Doris, born quarter ending June 1900.
13. John Thomas BEADLE [Parents]. Born quarter ending September 1859 in Birling, Kent. It is not known when John Thomas died. Occ: Stoker; Engine Drive at cement works.
In the quarter ending September 1888, when John Thomas was age about 29, he married Ellen Ann WOODEN in Strood, Kent. Born quarter ending September 1862 in Halling, Kent, Ellen Ann died in 1932, age about 70.
They had the following children:
i. Frank [16]
ii. Edith May, born quarter ending December 1894 in Malling, Kent.
iii. Hilda Maud, born quarter ending June 1900 in Malling, Kent.
 14. Frederick Clement BEADLE [Parents]. Born quarter ending March 1867 in Snodland, Kent. It is not known when Frederick died. Occ: Stationary Engine Driver (1891); Shopkeeper & Cycle Repairer (1901).
In the quarter ending June 1889, when Frederick was age 22, he married Eliza Hannah MILLS in Maidstone, Kent. Eliza was born about 1867 and died in 1908.
They had the following children, all in born Halling, Kent:
i. Ethel Daisy, born quarter ending September 1889.
ii. Edith May, born quarter ending December 1892.
iii. Frederick William, born quarter ending March 1894.
iv. Florence Hilda, born quarter ending September 1895.
v. Ruth Doris, born quarter ending March 1897.
vi. Mabel Eliza, born quarter ending June 1898.
vii. Edward Thomas, born quarter ending June 1900.
viii. Ada Lilian, born quarter ending June 1902.
15. Francis Richard P BEADLE [Parents]. Born quarter ending June 1880 in Snodland, Kent. It is not known when Francis Richard died but it was sometime after 31/3/1901 - he appears in that year’s census. Occ: Engine Fitter.
In the quarter nding June 1900, when Francis was age about 20, he married Edith Florence MEADHURST in Strood, Kent. Edith Florence was born quarter ending December 1880 in Brighton, Sussex.
They had the following child:
i. Frank, born 18/8/1900 in Halling, Kent and baptized 7/10/1900 at St John the Baptist Church, Halling.
16. Frank BEADLE [Parents]. Born 25/12/1890 in Snodland, Kent, Frank died of influenza in 1918.
In quarter ending December 1915, when Frank was age 24, he married Agnes APPS, daughter of William APPS and Mary MATSON, in Dartford, Kent. Agnes was born 25/6/1897 in Burham, Kent.
They had the following children:
i. Grace Agnes Ellen, born 1917 and died 2005.
ii. Kathleen, born 1919.
