The aim is simple: to share information about our ancestors’ history and to provide a resource for others with a research interest in the family names listed on this site.
We are Steve & Pauline Jones from Yorkshire, England. Thanks for visiting - we hope you find something of interest in our family history. The search facility is optimized for this site and will help you locate individuals and families by name, location or event e.g. baptism or marriage date.

 Where you see the “old book” icon there is a link to a transcript of census information for a person or family group. Simply place the cursor over the icon where it appears in the family pages and click.
The “vintage camera” icon provides a link to a picture gallery. Not all families have a picture gallery. If you can help start one, or can add to an existing one, let us know via the Contact page.
 The “poppy wreath” icon provides a link to a citation in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission “Debt of Honour Register”. The Register is the Commission's database listing the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died during the two world wars and the 23,000 cemeteries, memorials and other locations worldwide where they are commemorated.
We take great care to ensure that the information is accurate and properly researched. But errors and omissions can happen - if you spot any, let us know via the Contact page. For privacy reasons, living family members are not identified.
